Texas Book Festival

It’s been three and a half months since I published Like a Dream and I am still in my honeymoon phase. Every time I think about the fact that I of all people published a book I get this annoying smile on my face that I can’t shake. At first I didn’t think publishing a book was such a big deal, but as time goes on and I hear fans telling me that they enjoyed my book and can’t wait for the next one, it’s hard not to get excited and motivated. So far I’ve had a couple of successful signings and appearances and what’s so crazy is that this is just the beginning. Not knowing what the future holds is incredibly stressful yet intriguing. I’m learning as I go and can only hope that I’m doing things the right way. I would be remiss not to mention that I’ve had great support from friends and family. Even my awesome cyber friends such as Kitty Lusby for featuring me on her blog. 🙂

I was recently accepted to join Writers’ League of Texas for the Texas Book Festival this year in Austin, TX and I can’t wait. Every thing that I’m doing just happens to be a new adventure and it’s pretty cool. If anyone will be going to the festival, I’ll be signing Like a Dream on Sunday the 18th at 1 o’clock. Here is the link for more information. http://www.writersleague.org/calendar/TexasBookFestival2015

I hope to see you guys there!!
