Birthday Glamour Update

So it took me about ten minutes to find the right size nail for each finger. I glued each of them on successfully and found that it was a piece of cake, however, my left thumbnail came off twice after I first glued it on. I did everything right but I’m assuming that freshly glued nails and kids don’t mix.

The moment I finished gluing the thumbnail on my son decided that he wanted a bottle and threw a tantrum until I obliged him. So of course he wasn’t satisfied with just a bottle, he wanted food too, which is natural with him being human and all. Then, my four year old thought it was the perfect time to ask for a peanut butter and jelly sandwich. So you can just imagine how crazy I look trying to do all this. By the time I was finished with the kids and laundry, my right thumbnail popped off. Yay me!

In the end they turned out good, my nails are still holding on for dear life. After gluing my left nail on a few times I was left with a small bubble/blemish as you can see.

Next up: Waxing and Eyelashes!

Yes, well, birthdays don’t stop the world – even if they should. The nails look great! I’ll get my ridiculous pictures posted in our virtual birthday honor in the very near future.
